As a small winery our wines sell out based on customers buying our wine after sampling in our Tasting Room, so we seldom enter competitions. Our approach is to enter a wine now and then, so people see we are “award-winning”. And we enter as a broad indication of wine making quality, rather than to evaluate an individual wine.

We planned to dig back through our dusty files to provide a professional looking list of these somewhat random medals before releasing this update of our web site, but for now we just want to get the new site up and running, and we feel our most recent award says it all:

2009 Riesling - 2010 San Francisco International Wine Competition – Double Gold, and Best White Wine in Show (www.sfwinecomp.com)

The only wine we have entered in a competition this year, our Riesling won a unanimous gold from all 45 judges in a blind tasting, then went on to beat 1,300 whites from 27 countries and 28 states to win Best in Show!
