Match Made In Heaven!
Artisanal Hudson Valley Cheese & Wine Tasting
• When: Saturday & Sunday, May 12th & 13th 12-5 PM
• What: What’s going on in the world of cheesemaking in the Hudson Valley? Explore the answer to that question this weekend at Whitecliff in A Match Made in Heaven.
While the tradition of enjoying wine and cheese together is such a classic that it may have gotten lost in years of grabbing box wine to pair with Kraft cubes, the Whitecliff tasting will look at just how good it can be when you sample unique artisanal wine and cheeses together.
Cheeses have been chosen for sampling specifically to present a broad experience of what’s being made in the Valley today, from hard to soft, from goat, cow and sheep’s milk, to a variety of farm locations including Ulster and Dutchess Counties, up to Columbia and Delaware. You will be able to choose from a broad variety of cheeses, sample and select favorites, explore our recommended wine and cheese pairings with Whitecliff’s great wines, and come up with your own favorite combinations.
• Price: Wine and cheese tastings will start at $15.
• Reservations are NOT required.
• Questions? Call (845) 255-4613 for further information.

A Tasting Event of Hudson Valley Bread and Wine with Olive Oil
• When: Saturday & Sunday, June 9th & 10th 12-5 PM
• What: On June 9th and 10th Whitecliff will host a sampling of great wine and artisanal bread, with olive oils for dipping from New Paltz's Scarborough Fare.
Featured breads will be from two of the region's artisanal bakers, Bread Alone, and Cafe Le Perche. Bread Alone single-handedly put the region on the map as a source for great artisanal bread when they started their business in Boiceville back in 1983. Cafe Le Perche in Hudson is a much newer arrival, making French-inspired breads using Wild Hive Farm's local flour.
Scarborough Fare is an olive oil tasting bar and fine olive oil and gourmet food shop that is one of a kind for this area. Owner Corey Wirthmann will participate in the Whitecliff event, providing tastes and educational information on a variety of oils.
• Price: Wine and bread tastings will start at $15.
• Reservations are NOT required.
• Questions? Call (845) 255-4613 for further information.
